i hate laziness

Laziness is a drug. It is easy to get your first fix. It is easy to trade so many good things to get your high. It is so easy to forgo plans to shoot yourself up one more time. I hate laziness. Laziness has prevented me from fulfilling so much potential. Laziness has left me a shell of what I could have been and still could be. I hate laziness. Laziness lets you accept the status quo. Laziness allows you to remain in the land of what could have been. Laziness is empty and yet quenches the thirst of fear; fear of success, fear of failure, fear of growing, fear of being different, fear of living.

I hate laziness, yet the ironic thing is I am too lazy to do anything about it.

say it ain’t so

“No. That’s not true. That’s impossible.”

……………………….

As Luke pondered the meaning what the evil Lord of the Sith revealed to him holding on to that platform in Bespin with his one good hand; so I ponder the meaning of the revelation that Intel will be playing in my happy land of Tiger, no not the animal the OS. I must search my feelings for I know it to be true….

So Apple is going to be switching its machines to the Intel platform, although knowing full well that their chips are not better. To me it looks like more of a marketing move than a technology move. Apple to me has tried to make smart technology moves and not pure marketing ones. Why not make the switch back in the day when their OS was far superior to DOS? They believed there hardware was better and they were right; yet, perception is everything and they clearly lost that battle. So, maybe it is a smart move. I am not sure. They were really making a lot of money with all the niche products which included their G5 systems. What do you think?

gonna be a dad (again)

I am very excited as my wife is pregnant with our second child. There are some complications so far so please pray hard that these will be resolved. I am on pins and needles right now waiting for some good news in these situations. Nonetheless, I am very overjoyed that we are going to be blessed once again.

a new time waster

I have been wasting a great deal of time playing the new game Guild Wars. This is a great MMORPG that you do not have to pay a monthly fee to play online. This is one of the best, new ideas in this genre. Buy the game, play it for free and we will keep added content that you can pay for to support the online availability. It is a really fun, addictive game. The game design is really simple and you don’t need to read a giant user guide just to figure out how to play it. You can start up and get going really quickly. It also sports some differences from other MMORPGs that tries to reduce the annoyances that exist in those games.

I have two characters currently. My characters names are Beren Oakenshield (warrior/ranger) and Klay Celldweller (elementialist/ranger). My characters are both pre-seering. If you are online and want to do a quest look me up.

I have a forum setup with some friends to discuss a lot of Guild Wars info. If you play the game and want to be part of our community check out: http://www.earthworks-systems.com/forums/index.php?c=4. Register and we will accept your account.

Jimmy – Do you play this game? If so, come to our board and hang out. Chris is playing and we could form a Guild.

David – This game is awesome and I would not play it of I were you till you graduate. When you do get it we can play. I think you will really like it.

Kent – get broadband and get on.

Adam – you liked Everquest and I think you would like this. Buy the game and get on. There is no monthly fee.

Anyway, check it out. It is a great time waster.

could it be?

Coca-cola is now beta testing a new citrus soda in about 5 states called Vault. The ingredients, color and taste are very close to Surge of old. Could it be the Surge of 2005? I hope so. There is a website that is going to try to ship Vault to the states that don’t recieve it. If you are a Surge fan check out http://www.buyvault.com. You can find out more info and reviews at http://www.savesurge.org. I sure hope this is the soda we have been longing for.
